Sony's ICD-MS1 Portable Memory StickŪ Digital Voice Recorder combines the power of the Memory StickŪ with Digital technology. Featuring a Removable Memory StickŪ complete with a recording time of 63 minutes (SP) and 131 minutes (LP), this recorder is perfect for recording the minutes of your next business meeting. Compatible with Voice to Print Software Programs, the ICD-MS1 creates what you heard into a permanent record.

  • World's First Memory Stick Digital Voice Recorder
    • Records all the dictation on small compact high capacity Memory StickŪ media cards which are now available in capacities from 8MB up to 64MB. Under development is the 256MB media.
  • Removable Memory Stick Media Cards
    • With the convenience of the Memory Stick Media Cards, recorded dictation can be removed from the ICD-MS1 allowing easy distribution for processing. In addition, different Memory Sticks cards can be easily inserted in the recorder allowing a different Memory Stick card to be used for different applications.
  • High Quality Sound With Long Recording Time
    • The ICD-MS1 offers the option of super high quality sound in the SP mode with an 11 kHz/second sampling for 63 minutes of recording on a 16MB Memory Stickcard. In the LP mode, the same Memory Stick card can record over 2-hours (131 minutes) with a sampling rate of 8kHz.

  • Up to 965 Messages in 340 File Folders
    • Each Memory Stick card can be divided into 340 different folders to record different types of dictation such as Letters, Memos, Action items. A total of 965 different dictations can be recorded in those different folders providing the user with flexibility in using the media.

  • File/Folder Titling
    • Gives the user the option of naming the files and folders on the Memory Stick card which makes it easy and convenient to organize the dictation.

  • Playback Edit Function
    • The ICD-MS1 has true dictation edit functions allowing easy playback and correction.
  • Advanced Digital Voice Operated Recording (VOR)
    • Due to the ICD-MS1's advanced digital VOR, the recorder stops during silent pauses saving valuable recording time. When the recording continues, the digitally buffered VOR records every syllable without missing a single word.
  • Cue/Review
    • When the ICD-MS1 is in fast forward or rewind the recording can be heard making it easy to locate the section where the user wants to playback the recording.

  • Alarm Function
    • An alarm can be set with every message which will sound and play the message at the requested time. This makes it convenient to alert you to some action and give you the information you need to know, such as what to bring to a meeting.
